Mountain Farmhouse
This is probably the closest to what I think we would like. A medium-pitched roof, generous front porch, mixed materials, more modern windows. I would prefer a lighter color palette and probably no muntins in the windows.
Transitional Prairie
Since we will probably have a one-story, I don’t think we want a shallow-pitched roof. But I do like the large windows and the stone accents which make it a bit more modern looking.
Craftsman Style
I included this because I think we might like some craftsman-inspired interior details like door trim and wainscoting. In general, I think craftsman style homes look a little busy along the roof line, but I like the pitch and variations in the gable roof.
